The motor vehicle industry is making continual advancements in technical innovations with each vehicle production year. With constant updates in innovation and sophistication, diagnosing vehicles can be a real challenge. The Wells Technical Services Department has added a section to our web site that demonstrates component pin-outs of sensors and control units. This area will be under constant construction with new part numbers being added continually. We know the part numbers currently available in this area will be a real time saver in the diagnoses of starting and drivability concerns.

To locate a pin-out you will first need the component part number. To find a part number, start in the “E-Catalog” section of our web site. Enter the vehicle application specifics; follow this by entering the proper section for the part you are searching. Record the part number and then move back over to the “Technical” section. Roll over the “Data/Specification Sheets” and click to enter. The next page will offer a variety of technical sheets; choose “Component Pinout Diagrams” to reach our new section. We’re sure you will find these pin-outs very handy when you have your next automotive technical diagnostic dilemma.
